Built with Claude Code

Claude Code Hackathon · February 2026

Everything you see on this site was designed and developed for the Claude Code Hackathon (February 10–16, 2026) — a global competition showcasing what developers can build with Anthropic’s Claude as a coding partner.

Claude is an AI assistant built by Anthropic. Claude Code is an agentic coding tool that lives in your terminal, understands entire codebases, writes and edits code, runs commands, and iterates on solutions alongside you. If you want the full picture, search “Claude Code by Anthropic” online — it’s a different way to build software.

Every feature on this platform was built in collaboration with Claude Code.

The full CARN stack includes a Next.js web dashboard with real-time interactive maps, mission scheduling with auto-generated flight paths, and a three-tier alert system. On the AI side, custom YOLOv8 models were trained from scratch on VisDrone (aerial RGB) and BIRDSAI (aerial thermal) datasets, then fused at inference with a COCO base model in a tri-model pipeline. There’s live drone video streaming via MediaMTX, Socket.IO real-time detection broadcast, a PWA with push notifications for field teams, and the whole thing is deployed on AWS.

The tech stack: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, MapLibre GL JS, FastAPI, YOLOv8, SAHI, ByteTrack, Socket.IO, SQLite with Drizzle ORM, NextAuth.js, and Zustand. You can dig into the details on the Tech Specs page.

This project was born from a real family tragedy. You can read why it exists on the Our Story page.

After the hackathon, this codebase will be handed over to the CARN Foundation to continue development as an operational SAR tool.
